In drei Online-Seminaren zeigten wir, wie Neutronen- und Synchrotronstrahlung neue Einblicke ins Materialinnere ermöglichen.

We are pleased to celebrate Vladimir's 5-year anniversary; he has been working as a project manager and team leader at ANAXAM since September 2021.

Around 42 guests joined us on 27 August 2026 for ANAXAM’s annual Networking & Member Summer BBQ. Alongside exciting insights into our laboratory facilities and current infrastructure projects, the focus was above all on personal exchange within the ANAXAM network.

We are delighted to celebrate the 5th anniversary of Benedict, who joined ANAXAM as a technician in August 2021.

As part of a three-week internship, Maciej Długosz, a student in the 3rd year of the vocational secondary school (FMS) program at the Wohlen Cantonal School, gained exciting insights into the diverse areas of work at ANAXAM.

From administrative and organizational tasks to purchasing, finance, and marketing, all the way to assisting our technicians, he became familiar with the wide variety of areas in our day-to-day work. Not only was he able to pitch in himself, but he also experienced firsthand how innovative technologies and research come together at ANAXAM.

Highlights included visits to the Neutron Source (SINQ), the Swiss Synchrotron Light Source (SLS), and the Swiss X-ray Free Electron Laser (SwissFEL) at the Paul Scherrer Institute, as well as the Nano Imaging Lab at the Swiss Nanoscience Institute (SNI) in Basel. There, Maciej gained a fascinating insight into the world of research and state-of-the-art analytical methods.

We are pleased to welcome Karolina Biedronczyk as our new team member, serving as Executive Assistant effective June 1, 2026.

This month, we held our annual General Assembly.

We are pleased to present you with our 2025 Annual Report of our Technology Transfer Center. The Annual Report is available here in German.

The visit led to many fruitful discussions about previous collaborations and exciting future projects. We also had the opportunity to showcase once again our high-throughput synchrotron XRD/XRF system in the ANAXAM laboratory.
