First high-throughput Synchrotron Diffraction measurements successfully performed at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF), together with our industrial customer Stenman Minerals

Together with the customer and association member Stenman Minerals, the sample changer infrastructure developed by ANAXAM was set up again last week at the diffraction beamline ID31 of the ESRF. This time, the aim was to carry out the first diffraction measurements and to find a correlation to the diffraction beamline Materials Science (MS) of the Paul Scherrer Institute. 

For this purpose, various settings had to be tested on the ID31. In total, more than 500 measurements were necessary to find the right correlation parameters. After the successful correlation, the way is now clear for the execution of the first customer order at the ESRF.
